As an international academic leader, experienced researcher, and educator, filled numerous leadership positions (appointed and elected), I have worked as a consultant for education and health care organizations on human resource development and research capacity development. Areas of expertise include leadership development and research capacity development. In terms of a professional discipline, workforce issues and how it relates to patient, staff and organization outcomes, with a specific focus on the creation of positive working environments, leadership and quality health care delivery is the focus of the bulk of my research work.
