Reception at ANCC Magnet Conference honors STTI president

Magnet_Troseth_Gallagh_cap_SFWMore than 150 members and friends of the Honor Society of Nursing, Sigma Theta Tau International (STTI) gathered 9 October 2014 for a champagne and strawberries reception in honor of President Hester C. Klopper at the ANCC National Magnet Conference in Dallas, Texas, USA.
Michelle Troseth, executive vice president and chief professional practice officer, represented Elsevier Clinical Solutions, which co-sponsored the reception.
Also attending were STTI CEO Pat Thompson, Vice President Beth Baldwin Tigges, and STTI Foundation Board Chair Ken Dion.
President Klopper gave a brief welcome and remarks and recognized The Elsevier Foundation for supporting continuation of the Nurse Faculty Leadership Academy and Hill-Rom for funding the new STTI/ANCC Evidence-Based Practice (EBP) Implementation Grant awarded at Magnet during the morning plenary session.
