Brighton vs Wolves Betting Tips - Brighton to Win
Both teams come into Wednesday's contest after disappointing results in the Premier League last weekend. Brighton were left frustrated after being held to a goalless draw against EPL newcomers Ipswich, while Wolves suffered a home reversal after conceding late in the game to lose 2:1 at home to Newcastle.
The Seagulls have enjoyed a strong start to their season though, scoring eight points from four EPL games, and remaining unbeaten across their last nine matches (including pre-season friendlies).
Impressive victories against Everton (3:0) and Manchester United (2:1) suggest that Fabian Hürzeler′s side will be a force to reckoned with this season, despite their failure to break down stubborn Ipswich side on Saturday.
Wolves have made a less than stellar start to their season, and they make the journey south having picked up just one point from four EPL games played. Gary O′Neil′s side conceded ten goals in defeats against Arsenal (2:0), Chelsea (6:2) and Newcastle (2:1).
A lack of away form has been a big issue for Wolves in 2024. The Wanderers failed to win any of their last nine road matches, with defeat suffered in six of those fixtures.
With Brighton in good early-season form, this could prove to be another tough away day for O′Neill′s men, and I expect the Seagulls to claim their place in the next round.
I′m backing Fabian Hürzeler′s side to claim a home victory on Wednesday.

Wolves boss O'Neill could be forced into at least a couple of changes this week. Andre and Rayan Ait Nouri were both forced off in the defeat against Newcastle, and could miss out on Wednesday.
