Two sides separated by five places in the English second division face off on Sunday afternoon as Swansea City play host to Bristol City.
Swansea began the 2024-25 season by failing to find the net when they lost to Middlesbrough at the Riverside Stadium but the Jacks have given their fans a good response, especially at home. Luke Williams' side have lost just one of their last five league games and crucially, took seven points from their three games at the Swansea.com Stadium in that time.
Bristol City meanwhile have had little to celebrate away from Ashton Gate this season. The Robins took a point from their first away game when they drew 1-1 with Hull City, but they have since lost their last two games on the road, conceding exactly three goals in each outing without responding.
Swansea vs Bristol City Betting Tips: Both teams to score
Swansea conceded two goals in their final two games of last and those problems have yet to be fixed. Indeed, the hosts have finished just two of their eight competitive games this season without conceding. Their last encounter at this ground saw them secure a narrow 1-0 win over Norwich City over two weeks ago, but Luke Williams’ side don’t have a good defensive record against Bristol especially at the Swansea.com Stadium.
Bets on ‘’both teams to score – yes‘’ were won in four of the last five meetings between these two sides and I fancy a similar result this weekend.

Swansea team news
Sam Parker has been sidelined since January with a hamstring injury and Sunday's game will come too soon for the defender.
Swansea City's absentee list also includes Josh Ginnelly and Andy Fisher, who are nursing Achilles and groin injuries respectively.

Bristol City team news
Having watched his side come from behind to beat Oxford Utd last weekend, head coach Liam Manning will resist the temptation to make any changes to his Bristol City XI.
Sinclair Armstrong will continue to lead the line after scoring his second goal of the campaign in that encounter, while Nahki Wells may have to settle for a place on the bench once again.
