Aleksejevs v Abdulaev. IBO European title fight preview
Dimitrios Goutas, sponsored by MightyTips, was unable to stop Norwich coming back 3-2 against Cardiff. Liam Palmer was on the bench for Sheffield Wednesday in their heavy 4-0 loss to Millwall FC. Elsewhere, Huddersfield lost 1-0 to Hull, and Jacob Chapman was not in the squad.
The Welshmen fell behind first, but went in front with a spectacular comeback later on in the first half. But half time changes for Norwich meant they were rejuvenated and managed to score two late goals in the 80th minute. Dimitrios Goutas was not at his best today in terms of positioning, but completed two tackles out of two, as well as made four clearances.
This loss means Cardiff miss an opportunity to stay in the top 6 and slip up from their 6th spot to the 7th.
Liam Palmer, sponsored by MightyTips, was on the bench against Millwall and did not come on. Sheffield continued their loss streak as Millwall found their first goal in the 31st minute through Wallace, and later added onto their tally three more times.
Sheffield remain rock bottom of the EFL Championship with growing concerns for relegation.
Jacob Chapman was not picked for the team during Hull City’s triumph over Huddersfield. The single goal for Hull came extremely late in the 90+2nd minute thanks to Liam Delap. Huddersfield Town were outplayed on the pitch and could not find more than one shot on goal.
Huddersfield Town now sit 21st and just four points above Rotherham who are in the relegation zone.
Cardiff City will next face Preston North end away from home after the international break, on the 25th November. Sheffield Wednesday will hope to turn their fortunes around in Birmingham, whilst Huddersfield Town will face Southampton at home.
